Recently, I have written a couple of posts wherein I mentioned thanking my subscribers and the number that I had at the time. Several people (not all of them were newbies) contacted me via comments and emails asking where to find this information. There are actually two places that I would direct you to, one of which you probably see pretty often.
On the “My Home” page, the number of subscribers to your blog appears as the last number in the blue shaded block at the top:
If you want to see which members have actually subscribed to your blog, go to the bottom left of your “My Home” page, and click on the “Statistics” link:
After clicking here, you have a couple of options (see below). You can view statistics for all of your previous posts, and you can also access your subscriber list.
Click on the “Subscribers” tab as shown here. This will take you to the list of all people who are currently subscribed to your blog.
For the other tab (“Blog Entries”), you can view stats for everything you have posted so far on Active Rain. There are three columns on the right-hand side:
Obviously, you know what the comment part is, but what are views as opposed to clicks? “Views” are how often your post was viewed within the group(s) blog roll. Clicks are the number of times that someone has actually clicked through to your post, as opposed to just seeing it in the general/group blog roll. This includes consumer visits, too! I like to look at these numbers sometimes, especially for my posts that have been Public for awhile. It’s interesting to see how many people are actually reading these.
