As I watched my point total creep up toward the 400,000 mark recently, I wondered if it would happen before or after Christmas, then I began to think that it might happen before Thanksgiving. Well, having it happen in between the holidays is okay, too!
Today, I crossed this (somewhat) momentous plateau. It’s rarefied air, with only seven other members who have made it here so far. The title above is a joke, clearly, as blogging has become an integral part of my business plan moving forward.
Unlike previous milestone posts that I have written, I don’t have any grand plans to re-cap my time here, but I will state that Thursday will mark my 16-month anniversary on ActiveRain, so that’s basically how long it took me to reach this total.
Thank you so much to all of my friends, regular readers, and subscribers. Without your support, I probably wouldn’t have stuck with it this long, since the comments, emails, and phone calls are what motivate me to continue writing. In fact, I have a couple of books in the works now, since I feel like I have proven to myself that I can actually write reasonably well.
