I have mentioned our new radio show on BlogTalkRadio.com a couple of times recently, but I realized that I have never made a concerted effort to invite my ActiveRain friends to listen to an upcoming show (until now, that is).
Ken Cook and I have been hosting “Twitter Tuesday” each week. Why that name? Well, we like alliteration, and we talk about Twitter and some of the related tools. We also talk about ActiveRain (since we met here) and using social media to grow your business. So far, each of our guests has been a contact that we met while using Twitter.
Last week, we broke our previous record of “live” listeners, increasing from 20 to 39. I would love to shatter that tomorrow and each week thereafter. We had over 150 listeners overall last time, including those who listened to the archive recording.
If you can, please join us tomorrow at noon Eastern (11am Central). The show runs for exactly an hour.
You can access it right here: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/jckc.
You can click on the current episode to listen live or you can check out a couple of our previous shows there, since we moved from our previous URL recently.
The call-in number is (347) 215-7478, which will enable you to ask questions or just to listen if you’re not in front of your computer when we are live.
Our guests tomorrow will be:
- Julie Roads – writer/copywriter, speaker, and all around fun person
- Erika Napoletano and Wally Charnoff of InvestorLoft.com
Additionally, of course, Ken and I will be having a good time with our litany of crazy and funny sound effects, which seem to entertain us to no end.
We started our show a couple of months ago, and I think this past week was our first show that was free of technical problems! I will readily admit that it stretches my creative abilities when we are trying to fill “dead air” or compensate for some other audio problem.
Hopefully, all will go well for our future shows. If not, feel free to call and make fun of us. We really don’t mind.
All in all, we have a LOT of fun and (believe it or not) we do prepare a reasonable amount before each show. I hope you can make it!
